Many retail shops and store owners are looking for inexpensive methods to confirm acts of theft and covertly monitor activity.
Thanks to the declining economy, our city has witnessed an increase in petty crimes like break-ins and thefts. Our own store has suffered sever forced entries within the last couple of months, and we have taken steps to try to avert this.
Among the things which we, as the owners, felt was required was to be able to spot unwanted entry with a hidden camera with built-in DVR. We spent top dollars to have a special surveillance system built and incorporated with our current security system.
We now utilize these types of surveillance cameras to watch specific parts of our building, such as the entrance and exit. The spy cameras which we use were built to appear like regular, everyday things, and can match well with the environment around them.
Nobody knows the covert cameras exits, so no one is aware that they are being watched. We wanted to install a nanny cam outdoors, too, and required one that blended well. So, we placed a large spot light hidden camera with built-in DVR above our entrance door.
Security cameras with built-in DVR have everything that they require to record built in. Absolutely no added set up was required other than to mount the camera. The video footage could then be retrieved in one of two different ways.
First, we could remove the built-in SD card and use a PC to download the video. Or we can use the included RCA cable to hook it up to a TV and play the recording directly from the unit.
Furthermore, our spotlight hidden camera with DVR doubles as a completely functional spotlight with motion detecting capability. This enables it to record videos during the night considering that the lights switch on together with the recording function whenever there is movement.
We’re pleased with our investment as it has allowed us to do precisely what we wanted to do, which is to spot unwanted entry with a hidden camera with a built-in DVR. We’re now thinking about improving our coverage of the store with additional monitoring cameras.
The best spy cams to buy I’ve discovered have built-in dvr that feature motion sensor.
