The body count continues to rise here in St. Louis, Missouri, home of the most dangerous city in America. Our neighborhoods continue to be plagued with random shootings and violent thugs that feel every problem can be solved with a gun. As recently as this past Christmas, a 17 year old teenage girl was gunned down at an urban club by disgruntled teenager shooting indiscriminately into a crowd of people. The teenage girl died and another teenager was shot in the neck resulting in him being paralyzed. An additional 7 or more victims were wounded but have been released from the hospital.
Sadly, as this year comes to an end, I’m not hopeful that ‘2011’ will be any better in this murderous city. Violent home invasions, murders, sexual assaults, robberies and car clouting will continue as St. Louis criminals victimize law abiding citizen. Even suburban neighborhoods as far reaching as St. Charles, MO aren’t safe from being victimized by street thugs.
