Thoughts and concerns about crime in the downtown St. Louis urban community…
Its amazing how much violence you see on the news these days. Its getting to be worse than actually violent movies sometimes. I know they’re just doing it to make people scared, but its working. I get nervous being outside my own house at night now. We’ve never had any kind of violent crime in my neighborhood, but I still can’t shake the feeling that we’re not safe anymore. I guess I need to do something about that because we can’t be living our lives in fear. I need to find a place where I can buy personal protection products St. Louis .
I’m not about to go out and get a gun or anything, but there are some far less lethal methods that are still capable of stopping someone from harming you. I’m not sure what exactly I want to get yet, but I figure I can go take a look and maybe get a professionals opinion on the matter. I suppose this is something I could talk to a cop about. I think it’s something that everyone should take the initiative to lean about at some point. I need something that I wouldn’t be afraid to use, and even my kids would be able to handle it.
